| Current rules as of December 2017 - Updated by TRT Warden
-Only designated personnel (Join Section Mods) are permitted to respond to Join Requests.
Join Area Moderators-
Board of Executives (As of 12/25/2017)
Rules
1. When a recruit posts an application, the Web Ops Head will assign a Join Section Mod to monitor and respond to the join application. (Assignment can be found in the subject line of the Join App)
2. Once a Join Section Mod is assigned they will respond to the join application within 48 hours. Division Leaders may respond to the applicant as well, however only to express an interest in interviewing the member, with the Moderator’s approval and attendance. If they approve of the applicant, the Mod will determine what Division and/or Squad the applicant will go to, THAT MODERATOR MUST CONTACT the appropriate leadership, in the chosen Division, on Xbox live/PS4 and provide them information to contact the applicant.
3. The leader assigned to contact the applicant must follow standard recruitment procedures, including a background check. Once the applicant has been recruited, this information is to be passed to the Join Section Mod so that they may close the Join Application. If there is anything questionable on the member's background check *friends list, motto, bio, profile* and/or the member does not qualify, that information must also be passed back to the Mod to determine further action or investigation.
The above policy must be followed, any Join Section Mod not following these policies will be removed from this position after three consecutive warnings.
Valid Application Title Statuses- The term "(Requesting XX)" appears in the topic title of an application where the applicant has requested a specific TRT division/squad in response to the associated question within their application. Applications within which a requested division/squad is not specified, or an application where the requested division is not immediately known or is ambiguous, will not have this Valid Application Title Status.
The term "(Joining XX)" appears in the topic title of an application where the applicant has been cleared to join a division by a Join Area Moderator or other authorized individual if applicable. Applications which have not yet been cleared will not have a "(Joining XX)" Valid Application Title Status.
"ID Consult Requested" or "ID Consult Needed" means an application has a security issue in which Internal Defense needs to be consulted. Applications with this topic titles REQUIRE attention from an Internal Defense Staff Member. ID Staff members have security resources and interview capabilities that Join Area Moderators may not have, and so they are a useful asset in the protection of TRT and its assets.
Notes: "XX" is a placeholder for the two-letter abbreviation of whichever division the applicant has requested.
"MM/DD/YY" is a placeholder for the Month, Day, and Year on which the applicants 7 Day Hold will expire. Applications to join TRT use the "Month, Day, Year" or "MDY" Date and Time Notation format common within the United States, and not the "Day, Month, Year" or "DMY" format as is commonly used in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, etc. Example- We would use 1/19/16 to signify January 19th, 2016, and not 19/1/16.
Application End Status Titles- (Locked) means that the application has been Locked by a Join Area Moderator or other applicable individual until an issue with the application has been resolved, at which point the application will be reopened.
(Inactive) means that the application has been Locked AND Archived in the Join Area Archive due to the application becoming inactive.
(Recruited into XX) means that the applicant has been recruited into one of TRT's division and therefore been Locked and stored in the Join Area Archive.
(Denied) means that the applicant in question has been deliberately Denied entry into TRT by an authorized individual, and that the applicant has therefore been Locked and stored in the Join Area Archive.
(Closed) is generally a catch-all term for an application that has ended, but where one of the other terms does not apply, such as if an applicant has requested that their application be ended, Locked, and stored in the Join Area Archive.
